If your client doesn’t have an Actors Access account, you can invite them to join the platform from your own Breakdown Express account.


Their Actors Access profile will be linked to their profile on your roster, and you will be able to forward audition invitations to them through the system. 


They will also be able to update the photos, performance media and profile information that you have access to.


Invite All Actors Who Need A Linked Actors Access Account


1) Log in to your Breakdown Express account, click Clients and then Manage Clients at the top of the page.


2) In the Filter by Actors who need: section, select A Linked Actors Access Account.




3) This will take you to Invite Actorsa list of Actors from your roster, who do not yet have a linked Actors Access account. Enter the Email of the Actor you want to invite, then click Preview Email.



4) You will see a preview of the message that the Actor will receive. Click Send.



You will see a confirmation notice at the top of your screen. Once the Actor opens the message and accepts, your existing client profile for the Actor will be linked to their Actors Access profile.



5) If the Actor does not accept, or informs you that they did not receive the message, you can edit their Email, if necessary, and click Resend.



Invite A Specific Actor To Actor Access


1) To invite a specific client to create or link their Actors Access profile, log in to your Breakdown Express account, click Clients and then Manage Clients at the top of the page.



2) Enter the client’s First Name and/or Last Name, click Search, then scroll down to view the search results.



Or scroll down to the list view, Displaying All Active and Booked Out Clients.



3) Click on the client’s name.



4) Click Invite to Actors Access at the top of the client’s Edit Profile tab.



5) Type in the Actor’s Email and click Send.



The Actor will now be marked Invited to Actors Access at the top of their Edit Profile tab.



6) If the Actor does not accept in a timely manner, or informs you that they did not receive the message, you can return to their Edit Profile tab and click Resend.



7) Edit the Actor’s Email, if necessary, and click Send.




Invite An Actor To Actor Access Through An In-Person or Eco Cast Live Audition Invitation


1) Log in to your Breakdown Express account, then click Auditions at the top of the page.



2) Click on a specific Audition Invitation.



3) Click Invite to Actors Access.



4) Enter the Actor’s Email, and any Instructions you would like to add, then click Send.




The Actor will now be marked as Invited to Actors Access.



5) Once the Actor has accepted the invitation and linked their Actors Access profile, they will see the forwarded audition invitation in their Actors Access account.


Invite An Actor To Actor Access Through An Eco Cast Self-tape Audition Invitation

Currently this workflow is only available for In-Person and Eco Cast Live Auditions. If the Actor has an Eco Cast Self-tape Audition, you can see whether or not the Actor is an AA Member on the Eco Cast invitation, but you will not be able to invite the Actor to Actors Access from the invitation or select that Actor to Preview and Forward the invitation.



If an Actor without a linked Actors Access profile has an Eco Cast invitation, return to your Manage Clients tab and follow the steps in the previous section: Invite A Specific Actor To Actor Access.


What The Actor Sees


1) When you invite an Actor to Actors Access they will receive an email. They should open the message and click the Authenticate Email link.



2a) This will take the Actor to Actors Access. If they do not yet have an Actors Access accountthey should click Register and follow the steps to create a new account. 


This account will be linked to their client profile within your account.


2b) If they do have a pre-existing Actors Access account, they should scroll down and Log In


To be linked to your client’s profile, the Actor MUST enter their Log In credentials beneath the Register option, NOT in the smaller Log In field in the top right corner of the screen.




3) The Actor will see a preview of their client profile from your account. If this is the correct profile, they should click Yes, this is me.



If this is not the correct profile, the Actor should click No. They can then contact you directly to resolve any confusion.



After the Actor clicks Yes, this is me. They will be able to PERMANENTLY merge their Actors Access profile with your client profile. THIS CANNOT BE UNDONE. 


4) If they are ready to merge profiles, they should click Yes, Merge Profiles.


When a pre-existing Actors Access profile and client profile are merged:


  • The profile and resume information entered by the Actor will replace any information entered by the Talent Representative.

  • Both the Talent Representative and Actor will have access to all performance media, uploaded from both profiles.

  • Photos uploaded by the Actor and photos uploaded by the Talent Representative will not be merged, however the Actor will have the ability to move and copy photos between their Actors Access profile and the Talent Representative’s profile.



Once they have accepted, and merged profiles, the Actor will no longer appear under Actors who need: A Linked Actors Access Account and you will see Linked to Actors Access Account at the top of their Edit Profile tab. You will also be able to click Preview & Send to forward audition invitations to the Actor.
