You can now add custom Actors to an in-person audition schedule or Eco Cast Live audition schedule, and send them an invitation to their email, even if they do not yet have an active profile in our system.

Add Custom Actors To An Eco Cast Live Or In-Person Audition Schedule


1) Log in to your Breakdown Express account, and click on Schedules View Calendar.


If you have not yet created a Schedule, see How To Create a Schedule or How to Use Eco Cast Live for further instructions.



2) Click on the scheduled audition to add the Custom Actor.



3) Click Review Schedule.



4) Click +Add Actors.


 

5) Enter the Actor’s First Name (Required) and Last Name (Required)


You may also enter a Middle NameEmail, and/or Phone Number and/or click Choose File to upload a Photo of the Actor. These fields are optional, not required. 


Ensure that the email entered is the Actor's personal email address, not their Representative's. The email needs to belong to the Actor, so that they can be sent a link to register for Actor Access.



In some cases you may see a Search box before this step. In those cases: 

  • Enter the Actor’s name

  • Click Search

  • Click on the Actor’s name where it appears under Search Results.

  • If none of the provided results are the Actor you are trying to add, click Custom Actor and follow the steps above.


 

6) Scroll down and click Add to Schedule to add the Actor directly to your Audition Schedule.



If you do not wish to add the Actor to the Schedule at this time, you can select Add to Available Talent instead. The Actor will now be visible under Available Talent, Custom Actors.


Note: Custom Actors added through this method cannot be selected for Self-Tape.


7) If this Schedule is linked to a Project with multiple Breakdowns, click the dropdown arrow to select the correct Breakdown. If the Schedule is not linked to multiple Breakdowns, the system will skip this step and go directly to Select a Role.



Click the dropdown arrow under Select a Role, then click the Role you would like to assign to this Actor.



Click the Select Number you would like to assign to this Actor, then click Continue.



8) Click the dropdown arrow under Select a group and select the Group/Time Slot you would like to add the Actor to. Then click Add to Group.




You will see a message that reads Actor successfully added to Scheduleand you can close the pop-up window.



You will now see the Actor on your Working Schedule.



Move Custom Actor From Available Talent To Schedule


1) If you added a Custom Actor to Available Talent and want to add them to the audition schedule, click Move next to the Custom Actor.



2Select a BreakdownIf this Schedule is linked to a Project with multiple Breakdowns, click the dropdown arrow to select the correct Breakdown. If the Schedule is not linked to multiple Breakdowns, the system will skip this step and go directly to Select a Role.



3Select a RoleClick the dropdown arrow, then click the Role you would like this Actor to read for.



4) Choose Select Number and Select a GroupClick the Select Number you would like to assign to this Actor, then click the dropdown arrow under Move To and select the Group/Time Slot you would like to move the Actor to.



You will now see the Actor on your Working Schedule.



Send Scheduled Custom Actor An Invitation


1) Once you have added the Custom Actor to your schedule, click Update Notification to send them an audition invitation. 



2) If you would like to double-check which Actors this Notification will go to, click View Recipient Info.



You will see a list of Actors included in this Notification.



3) Check that you have filled out all of the fields, and attached any Sides that you want the Actor to have access to, then click Send Message.



Once the message has been sent, the Actor will be marked Invited to Actors Access on the Schedule.



Resend Invitation


1) If you sent the invitation to the wrong email address, or the Actor did not receive the message, you can send a new invitation by clicking Resend.



2) Edit the email, if necessary, then click Send.



You will see a confirmation notice that the invitation has been resent. Click OK to close the confirmation notice.
